Minor services typically include a comprehensive vehicle system and diagnostics check, oil and oil filter change; checking all fluid levels, filter conditions, tubes and hoses for leaks; fan belt and brake pad inspection. The service will also include checking all lights and tyre pressure. 

If you’re having any specific issues with your vehicle, ask your mechanic to check that specific area.

 A major car service is the most comprehensive type of car service, with a full inspection of the vehicle. It includes the outside of the vehicle, hinges and latches, and the timing belt. It usually includes spark plugs and filters; replacing transmission and differential oils; and checking brake and clutch fluid. This is also when wheel bearing grease will be checked and replaced if necessary. 

These are just some of the items that would be covered in a major car service as the technician works through a comprehensive checklist that insures your car is inspected from head to tail. If the technician detects any problems during the service, you should receive a quote for any additional work that might be required.

 When a car’s engine begins to sound ‘funny’, when it idles, while it is accelerating, or as it turns off, then you may need an engine overhaul. Even smoke billowing from the exhaust pipe, or if your car runs too hot, it could spell serious engine damage. It is hard to say without a check-up, but you just may need to take your engine apart, clean it up and replace any damaged engine parts or seals, and then put it back together like new. Basically, that is exactly what an engine overhaul consists of. 

 What the service includes: Drain gearbox fluid. Inspect the fluid for evidence of sludge. Fill the gearbox to the recommended level with new fluid of the correct type and viscosity* Inspect fit of plug and drain plug.  During the inspection, we may notice some damaged parts that need to be replaced and put back together for a smoother ride.
